You are invited to submit progress reports that deal with research projects involving forages that would be of interest to Texas and U.S. forage producers, allied industry, extension personnel, forage, herbicide, and soil research scientists and alumni. Forage Research in Texas will be published annually electronically. We need to have manuscripts submitted by September 1, 2003.
The progress reports are to be written for this broad audience, therefore, they should be written in layman's terms as much as possible and use the most traditional units of measure (typically British units). The formatting specifications need to be followed closely, and reports should be received in a print-ready state. Minor formatting changes may be done in our office, but major formatting revisions could delay the inclusion of the manuscript from this year's publication.
